How to Turn a Chrome Browser Into a Dark UC Portal

This mod (which also has its own website) lets you use the Chrome extension to turn a Chrome browser into a dark-themed UC portal.

It works on the Chrome browser and is made for students and academics to use in their courses, but it will also work on any website that you visit that is using the UC logo and styles.

How does it work?

The extension uses CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to darken the theme of the browser. It doesn't change the actual color of the browser, but it makes it darker, and it allows you to see what's on your screen better. It can also work with the Chrome browser extension for a similar effect.

DarkUC is completely free and can be downloaded here.

How do I turn it on?

First, download the DarkUC Chrome extension and install it.

On your UC portal, click on the Chrome menu.

Click on the Settings icon in the bottom right and then click the extension icon.

There you can choose the Dark UC theme for your portal.

If you want to change your current theme back to UC default, you can also do that from the settings menu.
